Practice videos will be available following the first in-studio rehearsal, November 7!
Just like in the classroom, it is important to secure your dancer's hair away from their face to ensure their smile shines onstage.
To create the perfect performance hair, use the following:
- Spray water bottle (to wet hair)
- Soft bristle brush
- Hair gel and hair spray
- Dancer Bun Kit—available in the Platinum store (bun form, bobby pins, ponytails, hair net)
- Be sure to add your dancer's hair accessory that was provided in their costume bag
Dancers who attended placements were measured that day. If your dancer has not been measured, please stop by the front desk as soon as possible! Costumes are ordered shortly after casting to ensure time for shipping and distribution.
All Nutcracker costumes come with a pair of performance-ready tights and a hair accessory! You will need to provide your dancer's ballet slippers. Pink for girls and black for boys. If you need shoes, you can stop at the Platinum Dance front desk to be sized. *special orders must be placed by October 29
Nutcracker Ticket Sales will open to participating families on November 17
